The Chief Commissioner Office of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) has directed all the concerned officials of relevant departments for a massive crackdown against illegal housing schemes. It is crucial to protect general public from falling into trap of the real estate tricksters.
After receiving countless complaints against such housing societies, the Chief Commissioner’s office passed the directions on Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Registrar Cooperatives, Director Municipal Administration and directorates concerned of the Capital Development Authority (CDA).
All these departments are directed to come up with foolproof plans to bar illegal housing schemes’ from booking plots, marketing through billboards and digital media and any sort of hoardings. The crackdown is meant to protect the hard-earned money of general public that they park in real estate in hope of a better future.
The CC office also directed the relevant departments to start a campaign to make people aware about these illegal housing societies and to prevent them from further investment.
