![]() Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Youth Affairs, Usman Dar has assured to provide equal opportunities to the youth of Sindh under Kamyab Jawan Programme. He stated this during a press conference and added that PKR5 billion had already been disbursed in Sindh, while the minimum disbursement target for the current financial year is PKR10 billion, for Sindh province. The government was making sure of institutional arrangements for the youth at every level. SAPM stated that PKR100 billion had been earmarked in form of loans to the youth of Pakistan in the current financial year and PKR32 billion had already been issued to thousands of young entrepreneurs to start their business. Under Kamyab Jawan business loans, PKR3 billion have been disbursed to young entrepreneurs in Karachi alone, which resulted in the establishment of more than 600 start-ups and creation of more than 3,000 jobs. According to official figures, almost 5,000 retail outlets started business across the country, while 1,200 units began business in Karachi alone, despite the ongoing hurdles by COVID-19 global pandemic The SAPM said that PKR390 million in Larkana, PKR25 million in Shaheed Benazirabad, PKR800 million in Hyderabad, PKR32 million in Sukkur, and PKR13 million were disbursed in Mirpurkhas. |
