Under the Naya Pakistan Housing Project, 800 new apartments are announced to be built in Multan – following the same pattern of LDA apartments.
The three marla apartments will cover two acres of land in the Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency (PHATA) located at Madni Chowk. Minister of Housing and Urban Development Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed revealed this while presiding over a meeting of the Board of Directors of PHATA.
Construction of two new low-cost housing projects in Multan and Rawalpindi are approved in this meeting. 21 percent of the plots in these housing schemes will be reserved for Naya Pakistan Housing Project. The minister said that the approval is given on priority basis to the two projects. Moreover, builders and developers are given relief under Naya Pakistan Housing Project.
He also said, “We are working hard to solidify Prime Minister Imran Khan's vision for the development of the housing sector”.
