Punjab to have more e-Rozgaar Centres

The Chief Minister’s e-Rozgaar Programme that will be formally launched in this week at University of Gujrat (UoG) aims to open five centres this month in Lahore, Gujrat, Taxila, Wah Cantt and Faisalabad.

RCB has Clash with Labourers for Demolishing Plaza

A clash broke out between officials of building department of Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) and labourers for demolishing a plaza at Adam Jee Road in Saddar.

The labourers manhandled RCB officials while the civic body approached police for legal action against the labourers. Police are officially investigating the matter.

PAC Suggests Demolition of Illegal Construction

A sub-committee of PAC suggested concerned officials to demolish illegal constructions in the city.

The committee has also reviewed the audit objections Capital Development Authority (CDA) of the year 2011-12. Reviewing the audit objection regarding illegal construction, audit officials raised the matter about non-construction of five star hotel at Grand Hayat and Centaurs.

The committee asked NAB and FIA to submit inquiry report within 15 days.
